Opening of Southern Hemisphere Office

In addition to its new offices, based in Biggleswade, Rowe and Co is due to open its first Southern Hemisphere Office in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in September 2009.

The expansion in international operations is being orchestrated by Managing Director Chris Rowe.

The move to open offices in Australia is in response to global market trends and the organisation will be adding to its database of more than 2000 engineers to service the Asiapac market place.

Chris Rowe, who spent 11 years as an HR Manager on the client side, attributes the company’s continued growth to sound knowledge of the markets and a real empathy with the clients’ business profiles.

“Understanding our clients’ individual corporate cultures helps ensure that the people we recommend for jobs will respond positively to the challenge of our client companies. We recognise that people are the most valuable asset any company has and our role in securing the best candidates ensures they contribute to the business goals of their employers.”

He is now looking forward to the challenge of managing the launch of the Australian enterprise in the city which is the state capital of Victoria and is vibrant, cosmopolitan and itself expanding as a business centre.
